Subscription and Qualification Terms

Last updated: Draft, pending legal sign-off

Draft. This document is awaiting legal sign-off and is not yet in force. Bracketed placeholders are still to be completed.

These terms cover the free trial, one-off course and pathway purchases, the Learn subscription and the Qualify subscription.

Who we are and what these terms cover

Complete Care Training (Complete Care Training Ltd, company number 16207330, registered at Lowerhouse Farm, Mobberley Road, Ashley, Altrincham, WA15 0QN, "CCT", "we") provides online training for the adult social care sector.

These terms cover: the free trial; one-off course and pathway purchases; the Learn subscription; and the Qualify subscription. Employer contracts are covered by separate business terms. Our website terms of use and privacy policy also apply.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Definitions

"Course" means an online course delivered on the CCT platform. "CPD certificate" means a certificate issued by CCT confirming completion of a course. "Cycle" means a 12-month period of the Qualify plan starting on the date of first payment. "Trial" means the free trial described in the Free trial section.

One-off courses and pathways: lifetime access

A one-off purchase gives the named learner access to that course or pathway for as long as CCT operates the platform, including updates we publish to it. Access is personal and cannot be shared or transferred.

Passing a course earns a CPD certificate carrying the date of the pass. Where a course has a certificate validity period, renewal opens 60 days before the certificate expires. Retaking a course you bought individually is free, and passing again issues a new certificate with a new date. If you do not pass, you may start the course again at no cost.

Refunds: you may cancel a one-off purchase within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, provided you have not completed the course assessment. Once the assessment is completed and a certificate issued, the purchase is non-refundable.

Free trial

The Trial gives a new customer access, for 7 days from account creation, to the courses marked as free in the catalogue at the time of sign-up.

No payment details are taken for the Trial, it does not convert into a paid plan, and access ends automatically when the 7 days expire. Course progress is retained on your account and continues under any plan or purchase you later choose.

CPD certificates for courses passed during the Trial are issued and remain yours after the Trial ends.

The Trial is limited to one per person. Creating multiple accounts to obtain repeated Trials is a breach of these terms and may lead to closure of the accounts and withdrawal of certificates obtained through them. We may ask you to verify your identity or email address before or during a Trial.

We may change the courses included in, or withdraw, the Trial at any time for new sign-ups; this does not affect a Trial already started.

Learn subscription

Learn gives access to every Level 1 course in the catalogue and unlimited CPD certificates for those courses while your subscription is active. Monthly plans renew monthly and can be cancelled at any time, with access continuing to the end of the paid period. Annual plans renew annually; we will remind you before renewal.

Certificates you have earned remain yours after cancellation. Access to courses, and to certificates not yet downloaded, ends when your paid period ends, so download your certificates before then.

Learn does not include courses above Level 1, or enrolment for, assessment towards, or the award of any regulated qualification.

Qualify subscription

Qualify gives access to every course on the platform, at every level.

Term and payment. Qualify is sold as an annual plan only, paid upfront for each 12-month Cycle.

Cancelling Qualify

Cooling-off. You have 14 days from purchase to cancel for a full refund. If you ask us to begin services within that period and then cancel, we may deduct a proportionate amount for services already provided.

Nothing in this clause limits remedies available to you where we are in breach of these terms.

Learner obligations and academic integrity

Accounts are personal. Sharing an account, or completing courses or assessments on another person's behalf, is prohibited and may lead to closure of the account and withdrawal of certificates.

Submitted evidence must be your own work. Plagiarism, fabricated evidence, or undisclosed use of generative tools in assessed work is treated under our Malpractice and Maladministration policy, published on this page.

Funding

The Learning and Development Support Scheme is a reimbursement scheme for eligible employers in England. Individuals cannot claim it, CCT does not administer it, and reimbursement depends on scheme rules and available funds. Nothing we publish is a guarantee of funding.

Prices, VAT and changes

Consumer prices are shown inclusive of VAT. Employer pricing is agreed individually under our business terms and is stated exclusive of VAT. We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice, taking effect from your next renewal; price changes do not apply within a paid Qualify minimum term.

We may update course content, the catalogue and these terms. Material changes to these terms will be notified in advance, and the version in force at your purchase governs that purchase.

Service, liability and law

We aim for continuous availability of the platform but do not guarantee it, and planned maintenance may interrupt access briefly.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Otherwise, our liability under these terms is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without affecting mandatory consumer protections where you live.

Complaints: email [email protected] or call 020 8124 2255. If a complaint concerns an assessment decision, the appeals policy applies first.
