Courses and pathways
A course is a single subject you can take on its own. A learning pathway is a set of courses in a defined order, bought as one product at a bundle price, such as the Mandatory Training Professional pathway.
Each course page shows how long it takes. You work at your own pace and the platform remembers where you stopped, so a course can be spread across several shifts.
Through story and active learning. Each course follows one continuous scenario with a recurring cast of carers and the people they support, and every screen asks you to do something with what it teaches, from decision points with realistic consequences to procedures worked step by step. The Our Method page explains the approach and the evidence behind it.
The levels follow the Regulated Qualifications Framework. Level 1 is awareness, suitable for induction and refreshers. Level 2 is foundation practice, for care workers doing the task in their day to day. Levels 3 to 5 cover senior, supervisory and management roles and are in production.
No. Our Level 1 and Level 2 courses assume no prior study and are written for people already working in care or about to start.
Yes. Everything works on phone, tablet and computer, and your progress syncs between them.
Every course is narrated and every image carries alternative text, so the material works with screen readers and with the sound off. If you need an adjustment to be assessed fairly, our Reasonable Adjustments policy explains how to ask.
Buying and subscriptions
Each course and pathway page shows its price. When a discount applies, you see the full price crossed out next to the price you pay. Pathways are priced as bundles. All prices include VAT.
Buy the course if you need one specific subject and want to keep it: a purchase gives you lifetime access to that course, including updates. Take Learn, at £29.99 a month or £299 a year, if you expect to do several Level 1 courses: it opens all of them for as long as it is active.
Learn gives access to every Level 1 course, with CPD certificates included, paid monthly or yearly. Qualify is paid yearly at £1,400 and opens every course on the platform.
Seven days of access to every course marked free in the catalogue. No payment details are taken, nothing converts automatically, and certificates for courses you pass are yours to keep. One free access period per person.
Access ends on its own after seven days. Your progress and certificates stay on your account and carry over to any plan or purchase you choose later.
The monthly Learn plan can be cancelled at any time, with access continuing to the end of the paid period. Qualify is paid a year at a time. One-off purchases can be refunded within 14 days, provided you have not completed the course assessment.
Access to the catalogue ends with the plan, but certificates you have already earned stay yours, so download them before your access ends. Courses you bought individually are unaffected.
Individual purchases are by card. For teams we invoice on the schedule agreed in your plan; tell us about your setting through the demo form and we will set that up.
Certificates, qualifications and assessment
Every course is accredited by the CPD Certification Service, and Complete Care Training is endorsed by Skills for Care, the workforce development body for adult social care in England.
Each course has its own question bank, with every question classified by difficulty, and each attempt draws a fixed number of questions from it. No two assessments of the same course look alike, but the level of challenge stays constant, so a retake tests your understanding rather than your memory of the last attempt. Formats range from multiple choice and select all that apply to matching and true or false.
The end of course assessment is marked automatically the moment you finish it. Written assessments are graded by a qualified assessor, who returns feedback rather than just a score.
You can start the course again at no cost, and there is no limit on attempts. A retake covers the whole course from the first module, and your earlier attempts stay on your record. Each course sets its own pass mark, which is 70% unless stated otherwise.
As soon as you pass the end of course assessment. It is available to download immediately, ready for your CQC evidence file or your employer's records.
It depends on the course. Each course sets how long its certificate is valid, and its page shows the period under Training you can trust. Renewal opens 60 days before the certificate expires. For a course you bought individually, retaking it is free and gives you a new certificate with a new date.
The certificates carry the CPD accreditation and state the course, the level and the date, which is what an inspector or a manager looks for as evidence of training. Some employers require specific qualifications for specific roles, so check with yours if a course is being taken to meet a named requirement.
A CPD certificate for each course as you pass it, and a further one for the pathway itself.
Ask your assessor first, within 10 working days of the feedback. If that does not resolve it, our Enquiries and Appeals policy sets out the formal appeal, reviewed by someone not involved in the original decision.
Ask before the assessment, and we will look at extra time, rest breaks, assistive technology or alternative evidence formats where the assessment requirements allow them. If illness or circumstances affected work you have already submitted, tell us as soon as possible afterwards. The Reasonable Adjustments and Special Considerations policy has the detail.
Teams and organisations
Team training is arranged with us directly rather than bought from the site: there is no standard employer price list. Tell us about your setting through the demo form and we will put together a plan and a price shaped around your service, staff numbers and inspection timeline.
Yes. The manager dashboard shows who has done what, what is due and what has lapsed, and exports training matrices for inspection, so an inspection folder is never assembled from memory.
Eligible employers in England can claim reimbursement through the Learning and Development Support Scheme. The claim is made by the employer, not the learner, we do not administer the scheme, and reimbursement depends on scheme rules and available funds, so it is never guaranteed.
Yes. Book a demo and we will set up a sandbox account with sample courses for your team.
Yes, our onboarding team can help migrate existing completion records via CSV import.
Employer plans include priority support with a named account manager who knows your account.
Your account
No. You can read every course page, syllabus and article without one. An account is needed to start a course or the Free plan.
Yes. Every certificate you have earned stays in your account and can be downloaded again at any time.
Your email is how you sign in, so it cannot be changed from your account settings. Contact our support team and we will help. You can change your name yourself; certificates already issued keep the name they were issued under, so tell us if one needs correcting.
Course progress and certificates are tied to your account. A manager only sees them if you are enrolled through an employer plan. Our Privacy Policy sets out what we keep and for how long.
